The sole purpose of a professional windshield repair is to restore the structural integrity of the glass. It is important to know the appearance after windshield repairs is not an indicator of whether the repair was successful. Since we are working with a glass that is already broken, during the repair, there is always a possibility that as the technician is pushing the resin (glue) into the chip that the chip could spread, if that should happen while working on the repair, the repair person working on your windshield will be not charge you nor charge your insurance for the attempt. Since it is broken glass there is a possibility of a chip spreading and glue not being able to hold it in place. When our repair person leaves a job (chip repair) we cannot guarantee the windshield and do not refund for attempted chip repair after we leave a job site.
